"Dr. Valasia Iakovoglou is a distinct graduate of Iowa State University, USA, with an MSc in Urban Forestry and a Ph.D. in Ecophysiologist/Silviculture. She has more than 25-yrs of national/international research and teaching experience with emphasis in seedling production and Restoration/Conservation of Ecosystems with emphasis on Biodiversity under the challenges of Climate Change. She has received numerous scholarships, awards and recognitions. She is an editor of ten international journals and a reviewer in more than fifteen with one of them being the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). She has more than 100 publications that incudes books/book chapters, peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences. She is active in many scientific societies such as the Mediterranean Experts of Climate and environmental Change (MedECC) and associations such as the “Association of Inter-Balkan Woman’s Cooperation Societies (AIWCS)” of UNESCO Center, where she serves as Board Member. "Kaveh Ostad-Ali-Askari, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow & Research Assistant of Civil Engineering at Water Engineering Department, College of Agriculture, Isfahan University of Technology in Iran. Over his 12-year career, he has focused on Groundwater Modeling System (GMS). Kaveh currently works at the College of Agriculture, Department of Water Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology. Kaveh studies in GMS and Water Management. Their current projects are Environmental Impact Assessment, Solute Transport Modeling, GMS and Climate Change. He studies in the Department of Civil Engineering, Najafabad Branch, Islamic Azad University, Najafabad, Iran in 2019. Kaveh has published a large number of scientific books, reports, chapters, journals and conference papers. Kaveh has contributed to more than 500 publications in Journals, Books, Chapters and technical Reports. He has been successful in a number of research grants. Kaveh has been an Editorial Board Membership of 3 ISI International Journals and technical reviewer for about 30 ISI scientific Journals. He displays extensive teaching experience in groundwater modeling systems and hydrogeology, environmental science and climate change. Kaveh has taught and developed course material for about 10 subjects at various levels and supervised over 7 graduate Master students. Kaveh has worked with several companies in the groundwater area. During his American university Dubai & Canadian University Dubai affiliation, Kaveh has developed investigation and forecasting of the quantity of groundwater resources using the GMS model under climate change conditions. Recently, he had scientific visits from several countries, particularly the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Deutschland, United Arab Emirates and Qatar for scientific collaborations. Dr Mukesh Goel is working as Senior Lecturer in Sheffield Hallam University, UK. He has serve as Associate and assistant Professor in many colleges of India having 10 years of experience in teaching Chemical Engineering modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in three universities and he is one of the most liked teachers by the students in the faculty. He has completed is Ph D. from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India & University Lyon 1, Lyon, France In 2009. He had done M.Eng from National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2003 and B. E. from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka, India in Chemical Engineering in the year of 1999. He has published 29 SCOPUS indexed journal papers, 26 conference papers, as well as 4 book chapters. He has written 16 research proposals in the areas of wastewater treatment and water quality studies. He has guided 14 PG students, 6 PhD students and several UG students. He is a regular reviewer for very high impact factor journals, such as Bioresource Technology, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Environmental Biotechnology, Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Journal of Env Manag. and other leading international journals. His paper in Water Research (Goel et al., 38(19):4247-61) is one of the highly cited paper on sonochemical engineering (total citations-205).

Merja H. Tölle is a Senior Scientist at CESR (Center of Environmental System Research), in University of Kassel, Germany. She served as Guest University Professor at the Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics at the University of Vienna, Austria and Research scientist and lecturer at the Institute of Geography, Justus‐Liebig‐ University Giessen, Germany She have done Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Bioclimatology, Georg- August University of Göttingen (GAU), Göttingen, Germany and Doctoral Research Assistant at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht (HZG), Geesthacht, Germany. She got so many achievements in her career and published more than 10 articles in reputed journals.

Dr. Jianbing Li is a professor in the environmental engineering program at the University of Northern British Columbia in Canada. He obtained his PhD degree from the University of Regina in 2003. He has research interests in environmental remediation, energy recovery from waste materials, environmental modeling and risk assessment, and environmental systems analysis. He has published more than 180 journal and conference papers. He served as a guest editor for three international journals, and acted as a committee member for many international conferences. He also serves as a reviewer for many international journals and a variety of national and international research funding organizations.

Animesh Dutta is an Associate Professor and Director of Bio-renewable Innovation Lab, and Associate Director, Graduate studies with the School of Engineering at the University of Guelph. Dr Dutta is specialized in advanced energy systems and thermo-fluid science with hands-on experience in reactor design and pilot plant operation, design and performance of various tests in laboratory scale and pilot scale units, thermal design and process development. In his career, he has published over 75 peer-reviewed journal papers, 3 book chapters, and has roughly 85 conference publications and reports.

He is working for a sustainable energy supply from locally available resources in villages to make villages self reliant in energy requirement. Prof. Vijay’s work on biogas technology, particularly biogas Upgradation is well recognized at global level. He is also the national coordinator of two major national programmes of the Govt. of India, one is Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (Movement for Progressive India ) of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India that aims to utilize knowledge institutions of the country to help villages in their development and second is Scientific Utilisation through Research Augmentation (SUTRA) – Prime products from Indigenous Cow (Panchgavya) of Ministry of Science Technology, GoI which will help in reinstating the cow based rural economy supported by critical scientific validation and research.

He has about above 150 publications in journals and conferences, 7 books and one lab manual to his credit. Prof. Vijay has successfully developed and patented Biogas Enrichment and bottling for Vehicular Application and transferred it to the industries and field. He is fellow and life Member of various scientific and professional societies/ bodies He is also Indian coordinator of Sustainable Energy and Environment Forum (SEE Forum) working in Asia with head quarter in Kyoto University Japan Japan and General Secretary of Biogas Forum (India). Prof. Vijay has received many awards and recognitions.

Dr. Lew Christopher holds a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology. He has more than 25 years of industrial and academic experience in the field of industrial biotechnology and bioprocessing of lignocellulosic biomass. He has worked as industrial research scientist and held faculty positions in departments of biotechnology, chemical and biological engineering, and environmental engineering in South Africa and USA. Currently he serves as Director of the Biorefining Research Institute leading an interdisciplinary team of faculty and researchers from several science and engineering departments at Lakehead University in Canada. His research mission is to add value to the global Bioeconomy by applying an integrated biorefinery approach to the development of renewable bioenergy technologies. Dr. Christopher is a member of the editorial board of several international biotechnology journals, advisory boards, and professional societies. He has made over 400 scientific contributions to the field of Biomass Biorefining including 8 patents, 4 books, and over 50 invited lectures delivered in Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America.

His research mission is to add value to the global Bioeconomy by applying an integrated biorefinery approach to the development of renewable bioenergy technologies. Dr. Christopher is a member of the editorial board of several international biotechnology journals, advisory boards, and professional societies.

With a masters degree as an Agricultural Biologist and as a trained farmer Michael Köttner is professionally involved in Biogas and Bioenergy Technology for more than 25 years. His portfolio ranges from professional services as a scientist and farmer in USA and South Africa, adult education, to being a founding member and CEO (1992 – 2000) in Europes biggest biogas association, the German Biogas Association with almost 5000 members today. Since 2000 he is consultant, senior expert, as well as managing director of the International Biogas and Bioenergy Center of Competence (IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas GmbH) and Vice-President of the German Biogas and Bioenergy Society, GERBIO/FnBB e.V.. The main focus of his work is consulting and training work in the field of industrial and small scale decentralized biogas technology with manure, plant oil for energy production, wood gas (gasification, pyrolysis) and ecological sanitation in a regional, national and international context.
