Biography

Prof. Haiyan Pei, has particular expertise in microalgae-energy production and algal-blooms control. Since 2014, she has published 84 SCI papers on international journals, like Trends Biotechnol., Bioresource Technol., Biotechnol. Biofuels, Water Res., and authorized 14 national invention patents and 1 software; Besides, 4 research projects she carried out were granted the awards of ministerial and provincial Scientific & Technological Progress (3 of the first rank, 1 of the second rank). She has completed more than 60 national and provincial research projects. She won “The prize of New Century Excellent Talents in University, People’s Republic of China” and “The National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars by NSFC”; Moreover, Prof. Pei is honored of “Outstanding Contribution Young Scientist” and “Excellent scientific and technological workers” by Shandong provincial government.
