Biography
Dr. REX B. DEMAFELIS, is a Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension & Professor 10, Chemical Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology, University of the Philippines Los Banos, College, Laguna. He completed his Doctor in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. He did his MSChE in 1990 from University of the Philippines Diliman. He did his BSChE (Cum laude) in 1984 from University of San Agustin, Iloilo City. Awards : 2014 UPLB Outstanding Senior Researcher in Natural Sciences, UPLB,2014 Alumni Achievement Awardee in Science and Technology, University of San Agustin Alumni Association (USAAA), 2013 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), 2013 Outstanding Chemical Engineer of the Philippines Award, Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers, 2011 University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) Outstanding Alumni in Chemical Engineering
